Number of electric cars in Germany 2023-2024, by brand

In 2024, most registered electrical cars in Germany were from the brand VW. With a stock of almost 237,000 fully electrical cars, the Wolfsburg-based brand was ahead of Tesla, with a total of around 164,300 registered cars. Both brands saw significantly higher sales than in the previous year.
